In.Dependence- HD video, 2′ 27” (2012)
In.Dependence explores the subject of post-communist society and memory, in which archival footage of a ‘Labour Day’ parade is juxtaposed with the appearance of an ambiguous figure. Utilising chance technical aberration and deliberate intervention, the artist attempts to challenge the temporary ‘amnesia’ which affected a society subjected to the psychological trauma of past events.
