I am an artist, filmmaker, and educator with over 25 years of experience. My work explores the notion of memory, history and stillness, particularly in the context of moving image.

My creative journey began in the theatre in the 90s, where I honed my skills as a director and playwright. This foundation continues to inform my work across various roles, including photography, film, visual design and consultancy.

Throughout my career, I have worked as a filmmaker, photographer, director of photography, editor, film consultant, and collaborator on numerous film productions. I have curated film clubs and served as a programmer for the International Film Festival Future Of Film. My experience extends to radio broadcasting, where I produced and presented a weekly film programme, and contributed to film criticism and academic discourse in several periodicals and journals.

My works have been showcased at festivals and exhibitions across the UK, Europe, and South America, including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca, BBC Shorts, East End Film Festival, and the Venice Biennale.

As an educator, I am committed to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and artists. I teach a range of film-related courses, deliver fine art classes, and lead an intensive year-long Expanded Experimental Film programme. My diverse professional experiences have enriched my artistic vision, allowing me to offer a unique perspective to my students and collaborators.
